Places to go, things to see…

In my 23 years of life I’m lucky enough to have gone to more than my fair share of countries, and seen loads of different places.  Like so many people, this has caused me to come down with a serious case of travel bug, and although I love home and my creature comforts, there are still tons of countries and cities I’m itching to explore. Here are just a few that spring to mind:

Costa Rica

This appeals to me on so many levels. It’s sunny and warm and has beautiful beaches, which I’m always up for. But what I really really want to see is the rainforests, waterfalls and wildlife that always look so pretty in the pictures.

Prague

I’m always up for a city break, and Prague seems like the place to be from everyone I know who’s gone there.

Belize

I originally read about Belize when researching for a piece I was writing at work. I’m fascinated by the Mayan history, but I also read it has underground rivers to explore which makes it feel like a proper adventure destination to me.

Edinburgh

Coming very much from the South of England I’ve never set foot in Scotland, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to! Edinburgh has been on my list of places to visit for far too long for the history and also the Fringe (which I’m finally going to this year, yay!).

Brazil

Brazil just looks like such a fun place to visit, with Carnival, and pretty much whatever other events are going on throughout the year. I’m just as keen to see some of the nature of the country, and the Amazon Rainforest is one of the first places I can remember being totally fascinated by.

Madagascar

As an animal lover at heart, the wildlife of Madagascar is definitely something I want to see at some point in my life. Plus there’s even more forest and nature to explore, which I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of.

There are so many places to explore that I probably haven’t even thought of yet, but I think this is a pretty good start to what could end up to be a never-ending list.
