Everyone always thinks New Year’s is the time to get fit. But then October rolls around and we realise we haven’t exercised since January. This is me.
Up until this point, I’ve been blessed with a flat tummy and a speedy metabolism. But since starting work and sitting at a desk every day, the muffin tops and spare tyre belly have become painfully apparent (to me, at least). So, I’ve decided to make it my autumn resolution to get fit and healthy and happy.
What with feeling a little low and a lot anxious, combined with stress-related IBS and a possible heart problem which is probably not serious but still scary, I’ve had a lot on my health plate this year. Safe to say, that’s probably what’s prompted the one-woman health kick.
As the ever-obsessive, slightly neurotic person that I am, I’ve made myself a whole exercise timeline, complete with goals, to keep me motivated. Because who doesn’t love a spreadsheet, am I right?
With any luck, my lovely colour coding and commitment to the blogging cause will keep me motivated enough to boost my fitness – all in time for 2018…
Can’t wait to see the spreadsheet and join you on some runs!
