
So, it’s been around a month since I last wrote about my fitness progress. Let’s just say, February has found me well and truly back in the dark tunnel of exercise evasion (read: laziness).
When life gets a little bit busy and a lot bit stressful, it’s so easy to crawl under the covers and binge watch Netflix. We’ve all been there.
But, this past few weeks has really shown me the power of a little bit of movement and fresh air. It’s something that I know helps me to feel less anxious and frazzled yet I still avoid it like the plague.
This kind of sunny but freezing weather is my absolute favourite which is extra motivation to get my lazy butt out of bed. Having neglected my FitBit for too long, I’ve been paying more attention to my step count and it turns out I actually quite enjoy a little walk in the sunshine.
In a bid to get back on track with the harder stuff, I’ve combined my RuPaul’s Drag Race time with my exercise time. Turns out a 45-minute ab/ cardio circuit can go by in a blink when you’re getting your drag queen sass on.
